Generally, batteries that have expired are crushed and dissolved in sulfuric acid or melted at high temperatures to extract metals that can be recycled. However, there is a problem that it is not eco-friendly due to high carbon emissions during the recycling process.ABR is pushing for commercialization by developing a technology that solves this problem. This technology, called "direct recycling," produces anode and cathode materials by using process byproducts generated during the battery manufacturing process.
